Our Mission
“To Connect People to Jesus, the Giver of Life.”
From the life and teachings of Jesus comes the simple truth that “LIFE” is a gift of God, and Jesus is the only One who can give us this “LIFE.” It has always been God’s intention to have a relationship with every human being, and it is the possession of this “LIFE” that connects us with God. This “LIFE” is genuine, active, and dynamic, and most importantly, it cannot be earned, but must be received as a Gift from God’s Son, Jesus Christ. This is why He came into the world, and this is why we are passionate about helping as many people as possible connect with Jesus, the only One who can give them “LIFE.”
The Apostle John, one of Jesus closest disciples, realized that Jesus was the logos, that is, the eternal expression (or Word) of God, and that this logos took on human flesh, dwelling among people (Jn. 1:1, 14). John realized that Jesus not only possessed bios (physical life), but that He also possessed zoe (spiritual life). He was the only human being ever to be born with zoe as part of His very nature. Because He possessed the very nature of God, He possessed the very essence of “LIFE.” This is why John could write, “In Him was LIFE (zoe), and this LIFE was the light of men” (Jn. 1:4).
As a result of His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus offers every human being a priceless gift, the Gift of “LIFE” which extends into eternity. John recorded Jesus as saying, “As the Father has LIFE in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have LIFE in Himself” (Jn. 5:26). This is why Jesus was able to call Himself “The Water of LIFE” (providing refreshment for parched and thirsty souls); “The Bread of LIFE” (providing sustenance for hungry souls longing to know and walk in the truth); and “The Resurrection and the LIFE” (assuring everyone who possesses this “LIFE” that they will be raised from the dead and enjoy eternal life).
And so, our Mission is clear: “To connect people to Jesus, the Giver of LIFE.” As people receive the gift of “LIFE,” it is our intention to help them remain “connected” with Him so that they will become authentic and contagious followers of Jesus, thus becoming lights in the darkness around them.
